In-depth look at SBR

The tank is divided into 2 compartments:

Secondary treatment (biological reactor)

This is where biological processes take place; by adding O2 to the wastewater containing organic matter, biomass (active sludge) is generated, which metabolizes the organic matter, transforming it into easily sedimentable substances, thus separating from the already treated water.

Competitive advantages

Maximizing efficiency

Complete solution with high performance
Manages varying organic loads and adapts to different wastewater volumes.

High quality material (PE)
Resistant and recyclable material

Programmable and lowenergy consumption system
Fully automated sludge system integrated with a programmable control unit based on inhabitance presence. The system minimizes energy thanks to the air blower and the programmable system.

Safety and reliability
The system has been tested during 9 months by an independent laboratory (PIA) and meets stringent environmental local and Europeen standards. PIA certification garranty a high quality of effluent compatible with effluent discharge.

Compact and accessible design
Designed for space-saving, with an easy access for maintenance.
Compactness of the tank including covers and extensions (large, accessible and walkable).

Ready to install
Ready to connect, SBR equalized system is pre-assembled, ready to connect, reducing installation time on the construction site.

How does ISEA SBR system works.

Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) technology is an advanced wastewater treatment method that uses a fill-and-draw activated sludge system. It is highly effective for domestic and industrial waste water treatment.

Unlike other sewage treatment plant (STP) technologies, SBR uses a single tank to perform equalization, aeration, and clarification, making it more efficient and compact. This high-performance system is low-maintenance and cost-effective, capable of handling continuous batch operations efficiently.

2. Filling the reactor

3. Aerobic phase

4. Anoxic sedimentation

5. Sludge Ricirculation

6. Clean water exit

Ideal applications

The SBR equalized system is ideal for a variety of applications, including:
Domestic wastewater treatment:

Ideal for homes and small communities.

Industrial wastewater treatment:

Handles high organic loads and industry-specific pollutan.
